like the weather

Mon May 24, 2004, 4:25 PM
a lot's changed since last summer. rereading the old, deleted entries is like reading words from somebody else's brain. weirded me out just now.

i don't plan on updating this journal much, and hopefully, nobody'll be reading it anyways so keeping it current won't matter. just thought i'd get it started in case i ever feel like jotting down some thoughts... thoughts that will no doubt take a 180 by next summer too, but what the hell.

feel more grounded, more relaxed, more confident, and less bitter this summer--despite the fact that this 20th year has probably been the toughest i've ever had to encounter. but, i'm still alive & kickin, so i know i shouldn't and can't complain--after all, the year's not over yet.

Thanks for the favorite! I wasn't sure if I still had any artistic ability left after a year in an engineering school. I'll check out your gallery sometime.

Thank you for commenting on Birds Perching. There was a great swarm of them passing through that day. Hug

Thanks for the comment! That was really nice. I don't get out much in the DA community so it's nice to see that some people are browsing my gallery.

You've got a nice gallery coming along here. Hope to see more soon! :) (Smile)

biggest fan, huh? wow. that's quite a compliment. :) (Smile) i'm kind of flattered that you enjoy my stuff so much. thank you. :) (Smile) i took a through your gallery (please make it grow, it's got so much potential!!!) and i liked what i saw. what i don't understand is why you have so few comments. it's quite baffling. do you scan your photos? i used to do that, and when i did the contrast was always very poor and they looked faded. no offense, but some of yours look a bit faded too. i always had to try to correct mine in photoshop. i really like that shot you have of the flowers on the side of the road, but i was sad that it was faded like that, so i adjusted it a little in photoshop and have that on my computer now. i hope you don't mind. anyhow, i like your stuff, and i hope you add more soon. let me know when you do.
